For all I can tell eve online has an increased player base since 2003, sure there have been spikes here and there but a lot of people are playing other games like GW2 for example. I know half my ex alliance does.

I agree, reading the contracts carefully will prevent being scammed but the new players will sometimes fall for it. Since they don't know all the tricks into the contract/courier system. But scamming is a part of eve online. The system is perfect...

You can delay afk miners by bumping them out of range if you want. If they are in a player corp, war dec them. If you have reported them and a GM/CCP hasn't done anything yet, they are fishing for more proof or the reported players have too much...
